The Jacky Winter Group's profile

Carla McRae for Graphcore

The tech industry is pretty well known for its bro-saturated culture and the way in which brand identity is influenced by it. Masculine traits and overcomplicated jargon leave some realms of the tech industry seemingly out of reach to the everyday person.

Which is exactly why new AI/machine intelligence company Graphcore wanted to lean away from such an identity. The perfect company to help them do this was design agency Pentagram, who explored a softer colour palette while still remaining tech and intelligence focused. Pentagram brought on Carla McRae to add a human touch to the identity by devising a series of illustrations that demonstrate what using AI might look like.
